Senior Consultant / Consultant - Renewable Energy (Wind)

In consulting and engineering services for thermal and renewable energy power plants, we are one of the market leaders both in the SE Asia region and globally.

• Prepare conceptual designs and feasibility studies for solar PV, onshore wind, BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems), and potentially other renewable energy projects such as offshore wind, battery storage, hydrogen, biomass, and waste-to-energy. Ensure all projects comply with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

• Participate in EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, PPA negotiations, and renewable energy project development activities in general.

• Prepare technical due diligence assessments for potential acquisitions or financing of renewable energy projects.

• Conduct preliminary site assessments related to land use and land cover by utilizing spatial and other supporting data concerning technical, environmental, and social aspects for various project types, in order to produce thematic maps and geospatial analyses.

• Conduct site visits to project locations and engage in discussions with relevant stakeholders.

• Data analysis and reporting: analyze project data and prepare reports according to the required deliverables for each project.

• Conduct energy yield analyses for solar PV and wind power projects.

• Act as a lender’s engineer for solar PV and wind power projects, including construction and operational monitoring.

• Participate in various other technical consulting assignments for renewable energy projects both in Indonesia and across the Southeast Asia region.

• Conduct project cost estimation and financial analysis to support project budgeting and financial planning.

• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, environmental scientists, and financial analysts, to deliver integrated solutions.

• Effectively communicate and present project findings and updates to clients and stakeholders.

• Hold a higher education degree in an engineering field relevant to renewable energy projects (B.Sc. or M.Sc.).

• Have 3–7 years of experience in renewable energy technologies.

• Possess a strong technical understanding of renewable energy technologies. Hands-on experience in conducting studies for Solar PV, Wind Power, and/or BESS is preferred.

• Be proficient in renewable energy design and analysis software (e.g., PVsyst, WAsP, WindPRO, HOMER, etc.).

• Have a basic understanding of GIS-based mapping and other aerial mapping sources.

• Have a basic understanding of project cost estimation and financial analysis.

• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present project findings and updates to clients and stakeholders.

• Be fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

• Be willing to conduct site visits and engage with relevant stakeholders.
