Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Service Engineer with a strong background in solar string inverters to join our dynamic team in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise to provide exceptional support and service to our local customers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our solar string inverter systems across the region.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to solar string inverters remotely and on-site.
Provide prompt and effective technical support to customers via phone, email, or onsite visits.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
Perform commissioning, testing, and maintenance of solar string inverter systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Product Development to improve product performance and reliability.
Document all service activities, technical solutions, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Train local customers, distributors, and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of solar string inverter systems.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to provide proactive technical support and recommendations.
Assist in the development of service procedures, technical bulletins, and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or field service engineering, specifically with solar string inverters.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to power electronics and renewable energy systems.
Hands-on experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar PV systems.
Familiarity with Indonesia's local electrical grid standards, regulations, and the regional renewable energy market.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English is required.
Willingness to travel extensively within Indonesia for onsite support and commissioning (up to 70% travel may be required).
