Job Details
The Project Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, coordination, and basic technical support for the implementation of the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation for Methane Mitigation (AKCMM) Project in Indonesia. The project assistant will support day-to-day activities including event preparation, stakeholder coordination, data collection, documentation, and basic research inputs.
Additionally, the role involves providing technical support on methane mitigation issues by liaising with stakeholders. The Project Assistant will also contribute to data collection activities, including information gathering, data processing, and ensuring that technical information is accurately reported and disseminated.
Requirements
A minimum Bachelor’s degree in public policy, sustainable development, international relations, or other related fields.
Preferably 2 years or more of working experiences on sustainable development or environmental fields.
Have basic understanding on environmental and climate issues, with relevant academic or internship experiences, is considered an advantage.
Experience in working with the government (national and subnational level) and non-government counterparts on a day-to-day basis in Indonesia is essential.
Experience working in a multi-cultural and international organization, especially related to ASEAN is preferred.
Experience in organizing events in a dynamic environment with a variety of stakeholders is highly preferred.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia are essential.
Willingness to travel, if required.
