Job Details
ESMS Coordination and Implementation
Implement a clear and consistent framework to assess environmental and social (E&S) risks and opportunities associated with new projects.
Strengthen internal capacity and competencies to support effective ESMS implementation across projects by communicating E&S requirements and responsibilities, co-developing E&S management plans, and monitoring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support the development and execution of mitigation measures to prevent, minimize, and manage E&S risks.
E&S Monitoring, Compliance, and Reporting
Establish and implement standardized processes to monitor compliance with the ESMS across all project sites.
Monitor on-site ESMS implementation through direct engagement with project teams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Support field data collection processes for ESMS compliance as input to company management dashboards.
Assist in fulfilling E&S reporting requirements for investors and external auditors, including contributions to annual VCS/CCB reporting and impact reporting cycles.
E&S Data Management and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement a structured and repeatable process for regular monitoring and collection of MR (Monitoring and Reporting) field data, including KPIs, to enhance management reporting dashboards.
Establish reliable data collection systems across sites to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of E&S information.
Identify, document, and disseminate best practices across project sites and departments to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Advanced academic background in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
8–10 years of professional experience in ESG, Continuous Improvement (CI), Environmental and Social (E&S) management, or social performance within land-based sectors (e.g., forestry, agriculture, natural resources, extractive industries).
Demonstrated experience in applying processes and frameworks that ensure compliance with international and corporate standards (e.g., IFC Performance Standards, RSPO, VCS, CCB, or equivalent).
Proven experience in conducting E&S risk assessments and implementing management plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and application of DMAIC is an advantage.
Field-based project experience in remote areas of Indonesia.
Experience in monitoring, reporting, and data management for project performance.

Strong communication skills with diverse audiences, including field teams, and the ability to translate complex or technical concepts into practical application.
High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
Experience in capacity building and knowledge transfer to field teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative independently.
