Job Details
Lead and provide direction to HSE Representatives to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant daily operations.
Coordinate HSE teams and allocate resources to effectively support HSE activities in collaboration with operational teams.
Monitor team members’ KPIs and deliverables to ensure alignment with departmental HSE objectives.
Facilitate cross-departmental coordination to support the implementation of HSE initiatives.
Manage government licensing and reporting requirements in accordance with applicable local regulations.
Support the HSE Manager in personnel development, training programs, and succession planning.
Ensure the implementation of Safe Work Practices and strict adherence to Life-Saving Rules.
Oversee subcontractors in coordination with operational teams to ensure compliance with HSE standards and procedures.
Conduct field verification and validation of safety controls and preventive measures.
Supervise high-risk activities to ensure effective risk mitigation and safe execution.
Monitor and follow up on near misses, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, incident investigations, and Lessons Learned from Incidents (LFI) to reinforce a strong safety culture.
Oversee HSE aspects of projects to ensure compliance throughout all phases of execution.
Participate in or lead incident investigations based on the complexity and severity of the incident.
Requirements
In-depth understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, along with applicable local HSE regulations.
Proficiency in HSE management systems, related software platforms, and incident tracking tools.
Strong knowledge of industrial processes and hazard control methods relevant to steel manufacturing.
Educational & Professional Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) and proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia.
Minimum five (5) years of experience in HSE leadership roles, with a demonstrated track record in Manufacturing, Construction, Fabrication, or Oil and Gas industries.
