Legal Environment Specialist

APP Group serves as group name of pulp, paper and forestry entities under APP and its affiliates including the pulp and paper and forestry operation in China.

• Ensure operational processes comply with applicable environmental regulations and the company’s sustainability objectives.

• Manage and prepare documentation required for compliance with PROPER and environmental permit requirements.

• Monitor the management of hazardous and toxic waste (B3) to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and other stakeholders regarding environmental compliance and reporting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in environmental compliance or environmental regulatory roles, preferably within the pulp and paper, recycling, or waste management industries.

• Strong knowledge of environmental processes; familiarity with environmental certifications is an advantage.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work full-time in Tebing Tinggi, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi.
